Accessibility Statement
Manhattan Trading Desk is committed to making its research readable and usable by everyone, including people using assistive technology.
Conformance Target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Pages are reviewed against that standard when published and when substantially revised.
Measures in Place
- Semantic HTML structure with one H1 per page and a logical heading hierarchy.
- Descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image.
- Colour combinations checked for contrast in both dark and light themes.
- A theme toggle for readers who find one contrast mode easier to read.
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Responsive layouts that reflow to 320px without loss of content.
- Text that remains readable when zoomed to 200%.
- Labelled form controls in the interactive calculator.
Known Limitations
The live market ticker updates automatically. It is decorative, is not required to understand any page, and its content is duplicated in static text where relevant. Some illustrative imagery conveys atmosphere rather than information and carries brief alternative text accordingly.
Assistive Technology
Content is tested with common screen readers and keyboard-only navigation. If a component behaves unexpectedly with your setup, we treat that as a defect worth fixing.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, please tell us which page and which assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge reports promptly and to resolve confirmed barriers as a priority.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is treated as continuous maintenance rather than a one-time audit. This statement is reviewed alongside our editorial standards.
